Blame Moyes . Not pacqueta. a player that got a standing ovation from the Liverpool supporters a couple of months ago . Since he's been shifted to the left. his forms suffering even Messi and maradona would struggle playing under him .

Moyes is the problem. He can't work his left wingers out. Once Moyes realised Benrahma flattered to deceive he started pushing Fornals there.
Now both Fornals and Benrahma have had their form ruined he's shoving Paqueta out there as he is too individual for midfield.
It's further evidence that Moyes is poison to attacking football. He bought Paqueta as an attacking midfielder but later spoke that he hadn't known DM was his Brazil position. Solution? Moyes knows. Play him on the LW...

But DM wasn't his Brazil position, until the World Cup. Prior to that they always played with 2 from Fred, Casemiro, Fabinho or Bruno Guimarães in the DM roles while Paqueta usually played as a No 10 and sometimes (gasp!) at LW.

He's frustrating when he gives the ball away and annoying when he falls over holding his face, but he's still one of the few reasons to watch West Ham these days.

Excellent idea leroys., how about selling kudus as well. That way we would have taken all of the flair out of the team .
Personally id be much happier to seem him playing in the middle rather than wasted on the left.

The point is Paqueta plays best in the middle... Moyes has wingers and I don't mean Benny cos he's not a winger either. We have Bowen, Kudus and Cornet all of them can play left wing he never tries Bowen there as a starter only to mix things up... he just chooses to put a non-winger there in the hope they'll be half decent... so no one should be surprised that Benny, Paqueta and Fornals have all failed there...

In that sometimes you wonder what the hell he is playing at only to do something where you go so that why he is in the team.
Obv no where near as good as Dicanio though :-).

I often wondered towards the end of Paolo's career, why we played him so much as we did. I guess the fact that the fans only seemed to know the Paolo DiCanio songs had a lot to do with it.

He played 19 times for us in his last season, including 6 times in his last 6 months with us.

He's obviously lost his form, and it's a real head scratcher as to why. Something changed and his form has dipped.
I think we need to do something really outlandish with him, to try and get him back into form. I reckon we should do the unthinkable and play him in central midfield, just to see what he's like there.
You never know, he might get his early season form back, when something was different..

season we went down (his last with us), we had a number of injuries to key strikers - hence the desperate signing of Les Ferdinand in January.
PDC scored 9 goals in 18 league games. He was our top scorer in the league.
and you are asking why he played so much?
